G'day! I’m Lel, and I’ve been teaching English since 2010 - mainly in Australia, though I also spent time teaching in Russia. As a learner of Russian myself, I understand both the rewards and the challenges of learning another language, and I try to bring that understanding into my teaching by creating lessons that are supportive, encouraging and engaging.

Over the years, I’ve worked with learners from many different backgrounds, age groups and nationalities across a wide range of levels and courses. My experience includes General English from Elementary to Advanced, Business English, Cambridge B2 First and C1 Advanced preparation, IELTS Academic and General preparation, English for Academic Purposes and even some Aviation English!

I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop practical, real-world communication skills. Whether your goal is to improve your speaking and pronunciation, expand your vocabulary and grammar, develop your writing skills, or prepare for an exam, I aim to create lessons that are relevant, motivating and focused on your individual goals and learning needs.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, gardening, and walking and hiking. I’d love to meet you, learn more about your goals, and help you on your English-learning journey.
