Learn More Than Textbook Chinese: Learn Real-Life Taiwanese Chinese With Me
Hello, I’m Kung. It’s very nice to meet you!
If you are learning Chinese and looking for a teacher who you can easily chat with, who explains things patiently, and who can support you step by step, I’d love to learn Chinese with you!
I’m from Taiwan and have many years of international living and working experience. I worked in Thailand for nearly six years and also spent one year in Japan as an exchange student. Both Thailand and Japan are countries that have a very special connection to me, and my experiences there gave me the opportunity to encounter different cultures and languages and meet people from many different countries.
Because I have lived abroad for an extended period of time, I understand what it feels like to learn a new language. Learning a language is not only about studying grammar and vocabulary. What really brings a language to life is everyday conversation, cultural differences, and those little details that are not always taught in textbooks.
My Chinese lessons are tailored to your level and learning goals. Whether you would like to:
• Learn practical everyday Chinese
• Improve your conversation skills and pronunciation
• Understand Chinese grammar and sentence patterns
• Learn the Chinese that people actually use in everyday life in Taiwan
• Prepare for travel, work, or daily life
• Find a relaxed environment to practice Chinese

I’m also currently a mother of two children.
My children are at the stage where they are learning to speak, so every day I use simple, clear, and natural ways to help them learn new words and expressions. This has also given me a chance to reflect on and think more deeply about how to teach a child a new language.

I believe that learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar. It is also about discovering another culture and understanding another way of life.
