Nic O Perfil del(de la) tutor/a
Hello, I'm Nic. I'm originally from Japan and have lived in California for many years. I was educated in both Japanese and English and hold a master's degree from a university in the United States.
For about 15 years I led global technology and digital projects at Fortune 100 and other global companies in the United States, and for the past 5 years I have taught project management courses to working professionals in both Japanese and English.
My lessons
- Relaxed Japanese Conversation: you choose the topic, I keep the conversation moving.
- Japanese for Your First Trip to Japan: the phrases and etiquette you will actually need. No Japanese required to start.
- Business Japanese Conversation: meetings, status updates, presentations and small talk with colleagues.
I also teach English conversation and business English.
How I teach
You do most of the talking. I type useful phrases and corrections in the chat as we go, so you leave every lesson with notes to review. Beginners are welcome, and I can explain in English whenever you need it.
Outside lessons I enjoy travel, running, hiking, reading and sports. I look forward to meeting you!
