Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. Thank you Mika-sensei, I appreciate you so much and I look forward to many more lessons together!

先生には大変お世話になっております。子供ができなかった掛け算を色々な角度から教えて頂き、また子供に合わせて教えて頂いてるので非常に助かっております。がつがつした教え方ではなく非常にリラックスできる教え方をしていただいているので子供も無理なく続けられています。

こちらのレベルに合わせて教材も用意されていて、とても明るく丁寧なレッスンがうれしいです。

ゆっくり話を聞いてくれます

気付けばもう5年ほど子供達2人がMay先生の元でピアノを学んでいます。オンラインレッスンとはいえ、泣きじゃくりながら自宅で練習をし、もう辞めたいと何度も弱音を吐いてきた息子達。実際には一度も会った事がないMay先生ですが、5歳の頃から成長を見守って頂き、子供達それぞれの個性を理解した上で、常に真摯なレッスンを行なってくれます。

Teacher Selina is an exceptional tutor. She delivered GOODBYE 2025, HELLO 2026 with clarity and warmth. She made me feel comfortable and free. I could make mistakes and she waited for me to finish, then she corrected me. She helped me to refelect on 2025 and think forward into 2026. I feel motivated after speaking to her. She will help you relax, laugh and have fun during the lesson. I was very happy to make sentences with the new vocabulary to help me improve my English with new words. 毎回楽しく英語で会話をしています。 もともとは、英会話と英文法や英文読解をしていましたが 最近は専ら英会話だけで話しが止まらず終わっちゃってます。 そのぐらい楽しいレッスンですよ。

子供の扱いは、流石の経歴の持ち主！という感じでした。算数でわからなかった点を丁寧に優しくご指導していただきました。海外在住でこちらの割り算方法に苦戦していた子供に日本のやり方を習得してみたら、分かりやすくなるかも。と思い、受けさせてみました。最初は今までのやり方にこだわっていましたが、段々と日本式で習った方法が簡単に考えらる様で、今ではスラスラと解ける様になり、一時期嫌いになりかけていた算数が大好きになりました。
