Introduction
Hi there! My name is Sandra, but you can call me Sandee (it's easier to pronouce!). I am from San Francisco, California, but currently living in Oita, Japan working as an English teacher.
I graduated with a degree in General Design Studies (Graphic Design) and a minor in Asian studies. Although I still love the arts, I felt connected to ESL learners and education. I grew up in a bilingual family household so I spoke Cantonese at home and English all other times. I have taught students of all ages, and I particularly enjoy teaching adults!
Some things I enjoy in my free time are working out, playing sports, watching movies/tv shows, listening to music, cooking/baking, learning about nutrition/diet, being curious about everything and conversing with NEW people!
I have been teaching ESL to various students ranging from children to adults for almost 5 years now.
