I leaned tai chi for 25 years from Master Feng Zhiqiang (馮志強老師), a renowned master of tai chi in China.
After his death, I studied from his high brother Zhang Zi Fei (張兎飛老師), and received the licenses of Chen style tai chi (陳式太極拳) and Chen style Mix Yuan tai chi (陳式混元太極家). I currently host tai chi meetings, while teaching qigong and tai chi in 7 different classes from Sendai to Kobe in Japan as a twelfth chuannian of Chen style tai chi (陳式太極拳第12代傳人) and the third chuannian of Chen style mixed tai chi (第3代傳人). Taijiquan (太極拳), which some of you might have seen being performed in local parks, is called Enacted Taijiquan (制定太極拳) enacted by the Chinese government. However, what I have learnt and will be passing on is called the Traditional Taijiquan (伝統太極拳), which is to increase your qi (気) by practicing the qigong method called Neigong Hou (内功法), and to replace this with power to the power of martial arts. This process of gaining qi through tai chi is also said to help you become healthier, so give it a try. Especially with the recent issues concerning the corona virus, it is necessary to increase your immunity, and the qigong techniques associated with tai chi is said to help increase your immunity.
