My name is Kate! Thank you for looking at my profile here on CafeTalk. I really enjoy teaching English, my teaching style is casual and fun! I have been teaching English in Japan for 4 years now. I specialise in teaching communicative skills in English, pronunciation and vocabulary as well as EIKEN speaking, reading and listening skills. I try to make each lesson fun and engaging and I am considerate of your English level. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed whilst learning.
I am also currently learning to speak, read and write Japanese!
So ... I know how hard learning another language can be and how important it is to keep practicing! With that being said I am confident I can help you with your english goals and help you to improve your english skills.

I am from Australia, Port Macquarie, New South Whales. I have been living in Japan in a beautiful mountanous town called Hakuba, in Nagano prefecture. I first came to Japan to snowboard and travel and have now been living here for almost 4 years-I fell in love with the Island! My dream is to travel the world, learn different languages, teach, meet new people and eat lots of yummy food!!
Hobbies:
I have many hobbies, but my main hobbies are reading, cooking, swimming, gardening, camping, snowboarding, bicycle riding, hiking and traveling.
I also love spending time with my friends and family and enjoying the outdoors together.
