Konnichi wa! My name is Christopher but you can call me Chris. I am a fun loving Jamaican who is currently living in Canada. I lived in Japan for 5 years (2013 - 2018) where I taught Engligh in elementary and junior high schools. I also taught private one on one and small group classes to people from 6 - 60 yrs. It was here I discovered my love for Japan, the people and the culture. Nothing beats seeing a student learn something new as I know I am preparing them to go out in the world and use their new skills. My motto is "Never be afraid to try and always have fun!" My classes can take a variety of structures but it depends on wha tthe student is interested in - whether it be a free talk class about whatever topic they love, or more structured (I will provide material that we can practice with!). Don't worry if your English isn't perfect, I will do my best to make the class fun and together we can learn English!Two of my favorite places in Japan, Hokkaido & Okinawa - from the tip to the bottom. Let's talk about it!
