Hello! My name is Sarah and I am from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I have assisted many students from around the world with English lessons. I am a qualified English teacher with many years of experience. I have specialised in teaching English as a foreign language and I have a teaching certificate (TEFL). My professional background is Political Science and I have worked in Foreign Affairs/government. 

Teaching is my passion and I am a dynamic and patient teacher. I will find ways that will accommodate your learning style and approach. I am able to provide a safe space for learning while attending to all your English needs. You are also guaranteed to have a lot of fun during my lessons!

I love traveling and in 2019, I have visited Bali, Indonesia. I have an extensive bucket list and I am very excited to travel around Japan in the future. My hobbies and interests are spirituality and meditation, politics, photography, art, music and gardening. I enjoy spending time outdoors and my favourite place is the beach. 

My lessons:
During my lessons, you are guaranteed to receive support and guidance. I create my own material and also have a range of useful resources at hand. After my lessons, you will receive additional support by extra material/material related to the lesson. I am able to customize the lessons according to your preference. My teaching environment is fun and relaxing and I am certain that you will enjoy the lesson and feel comfortable during the class. I provide assistance to my students at anytime and am able to assist you with all your English needs.

I offer lessons for children of all levels and ages; from beginner to advanced. I have lessons designed for middle school children as well as high schoolers. These lessons are interactive and fun; according to your needs, they will include reading, speaking, vocabulary and grammar points. I also offer free talk/conversational English classes for children and phonics lessons for very young children. These lessons are all parent friendly. 

I am able to assist in preparing for all English examinations, this includes but is not limited to Eiken and IELTS examinations. Feel confident and ready for your English exam by covering all of the material of the test (speaking, writing, reading and listening). 

For adults, I am able to assist with reading and pronunciation, grammar, free talk and conversational English lessons, interview preparation and business English. I also have classes focused on TED Talks, news articles and a wide variety of topics.

I am able to assist you, no matter what level you are from beginner, intermediate to more advanced.
