Hi there! Do you need to: improve your English skills, build your confidence in speaking, prepare for tests, work on your speech and presentation skills or just want to text in English? I'm here to help you!
I'm Asha, and I am a Jamaican living and teaching English in Japan for three years and I have experience in teaching from toddlers to adults, both face to face and online. I have also taught Basic Jewellerymaking to children and adults in both countries. I have experience in doing exam preparation for Eiken.
My aim is to help my students grow in knowledge, skill and confidence and my approach is open, friendly and innovative.
I am TEFL certified with added certificates in Teaching English Online, TOEIC preparation, IELTS preparation and Teaching Business English. I also have a degree in Psychology and Management Studies. I have studied various foreign languages: French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin with the intention to add more to the list.
In my free time I love to read, listen to music, go on adventures, dance and travel. I love learning about and interacting with people from different cultures.
