Hello! I'm Akiko.i, a yoga tutor.
I am holding yoga classes and work in corporate clubs around Osaka.


This class is designed to help you relax your mind and body, and create a flexible and supple body.
The emphasis is not on physical flexibility or pose form, but on breathing and awareness of the sensations in the body and mind.  Anyone who feels stiff or lacks confidence in their physical strength is welcome to join, no matter how old you are.


Also recommended for:
 ・People who are interested in yoga, but find some poses difficult
 ・People who think that yoga is difficult because of their body’s stiffness
 ・People who want to move their body comfortably
 ・People who are not getting enough exercise
 ・People who want to gain a little strength, but don't feel confident with hard muscle training

At the lessons・・・

You will move your body slowly in accordance with your breathing.Depending on your physical condition and mood of the day, I will conduct the lesson to be at your own pace and within your capacity.The lesson program is a combination of gymnastics (asana), breathing exercises, relaxation, and meditation.

Asana is a form of gymnastics in which the body is moved to the accompaniment of slow breathing. The muscles are gently tensed and relaxed repeatedly to develop the flexible and supple muscles necessary for daily life.

Breathing exercises can be used to improve your mood or calm your mind, but they can also help to balance the autonomic nervous system and improve your health.

The relaxation method involves consciously loosening the muscles of the body.

It has the effect of calming the mind and clearing the head.

By the end of the lesson, many people feel relaxed and sleepy.


The meditation method has many benefits, such as improving concentration by focusing on the "here and now" and being aware of your body and mind.



How I started yoga and why

It all started when I was sick and my hormones were out of balance.
At a yoga class that was recommended to me, I began to breathe slowly and move my body, which gradually helped to relieve the tension in my mind and body.
By feeling the sensation of here and now” with my body, I was able to notice my physical problems, cope with stressful situations without panicking and I gradually felt better.
As my physical condition and hormone levels in my blood tests gradually improved, although it took a long time, my illness was completely cured.
As I attended the lessons, I wanted to learn more about yoga, so I became a certified yoga therapist.
