Hello everyone,

Please call me Buri. I’m from England but have been in Japan for 30 years. In my free time I enjoy practicing the violin, watching Japanese TV dramas and anime and gardening. I am also a vegetarian.

I have an MA in teaching English and many other certificates and I have taught all ages and all levels of Japanese students. So, if you tell me the kind of practice and level you want I can design the right lessons for you very easily. Here are some of the lessons types I offer:

  1. Basic conversation to improve talking with foreign people.
  2. Academic English for university students and teachers.
  3. Junior and Senior High School support.
  4. Elementary School Lessons with a lot of phonics work.
  5. Eiken Test preparation.
  6. Presentation Training.
  7. Help with TOEIC and IELTS tests.
  8. Lessons with more writing work.


Whatever type of lesson you want, the most important thing is that you enjoy it! I hope you come and join me so we can work together on making your English fluent and comfortable. Then you can really have fun communicating and making new friends all over them world!
