Hello! I'm Tan. I was born in Singapore, grew up in Britain, and have lived in Singapore, Australia and Mongolia. 

English is my native language and I have a Master of Education with specialization in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I've been teaching English for over 20 years now in various countries, including Singapore, China, Indonesia and Mongolia; I've taught students of all ages and at all levels. I've also designed curriculum for different English courses, have years of experience in IELTS and am now the program director of an English school.

Besides teaching English, I've worked as an editor of language reference books, including school textbooks and dictionaries; I can converse in English, Mandarin Chinese, French and Mongolian -- I enjoy languages and I enjoy helping others improve their English.

I'm very experienced in helping students understand and use English grammar, English conversation practice (especially for IELTS!) and vocabulary expansion. I look forward to meeting you online!

Hobbies: music (I play the piano, guitar, zither, morin huur, accordion and jaw harp), horse riding, scuba diving and traditional Mongolian archery
