Hello! My name is Chery, a licensed and certified ESL teacher. I have a solid 15-year experience in teaching Business, Academic, Conversational, and Vernacular English to non-English speaking learners. I have taught learners from all walks of life both in online and offline settings. 

I have adept knowledge in popular English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, EIKEN, and I can use different ESL teaching methods such as Grammar-Translation Method, Callan Method, Direct Method, Bilingual Method, Structural-Oral-Situational Approach (SOS), and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) depending on your need.

Apart from holding a degree in English, I also have a degree in Business Communication and Marketing, which makes me a suitable pick if you want to learn Business English.

I also studied Linguistics so if you need to learn the science of language, you've come to the right place. 

Teaching is not only my passion, but also my lifestyle. I do volunteer work by teaching underprivileged kids. I try to make myself available to those who need to learn because I strongly believe in the power of education.

When I'm not teaching, I'm reading books, learning another skill or hanging out at the beach. I also love traveling and trying out different local dishes. 

I can guarantee to help you achieve your goal the best and fastest way possible. There's no magic in learning and mastering the English language. Right lessons, passionate, knowledgeable, and skilled teacher, and a willing student are what it takes. Together, we can make your dream a reality.
