Hello, I’m “Na”.
I teach daily conversation in Japanese.
Of course, I welcome anyone who wants to communicate in Japanese, even if you are not a Japanese language learner.
With over 10 years of experience as a Japanese language teacher and the knowledge and experience of opening a business, I am capable of providing a sincere and personalized service, treating each student with care and attending to their concerns as well as needs. In addition, I have acquired a variety of qualifications and experiences including emergency medical care, an ordinary motor vehicle second-class license, volunteer work, courses for people with disabilities, psychology, and nursing care. Although I am not yet certified to teach Japanese, I am a native Japanese speaker, so I can offer advice on pronunciation as well as natural Japanese used in daily life. Although I cannot teach grammar nor help you prepare for examinations, I would like to use my experience to help many people to have confidence in speaking Japanese, and to have the courage to confront their problems without fear of failure.
It is most important that you communicate with me without being too passive or concerned.
It is normal to forget what you have learned once. Let’s say it out loud together as many times as possible. It is meaningful to continue practicing.
In my lessons, I place emphasis on “conversation.”

・For students who can already speak some Japanese, our goal will be to speak more naturally and fluently than before, whilst paying attention to intonation.
[Reading, Viewing, and Writing]
Our goal is to be able to read the Japanese characters written on advertisements, billboards, signs, pamphlets, menus, etc. that you often see in your daily life with ease.
Our goal is to be able to communicate in Japanese in real-life and on social media etc., both of which are necessary for daily life.
[Listening and Understanding]
Our goal is to be able to summarize and understand important information in daily conversations as well as to be able to listen to and understand necessary information.

*Generally, we will not be using textbooks, but instead we will focus on casual conversation skills in my lessons.
I would like to focus on speaking conversational Japanese rather than focusing on grammatical rules, so I will try to give you lessons in casual or slightly formal Japanese that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
