About Me:
Hello, everyone! I'm a TEFL-certificated professional teacher and a polyglot who can speak several languages including Mandarin, English, Japanese, French and a little bit German. I graduated from The University of Melbourne (BA) and Monash University with the Master of Interpreting and Translation Studies (English-Chinese; English-Japanese).
I was born in Shanghai, China but my family has migrated to Australia when I was in secondary school. I have been living in Australia for over 9 years.
Teaching Background:
I have a TEFL certification. Also, I'm double majored in Linguistics& Applied Linguistics and Japanese along with a diploma in French at the college. Therefore, I am familiar with:
Syntax Phonetics Academic Writing Presentation Second language teaching Second language acquisition etc.
I have extensive teaching experience including: Tutoring English and Mandarin offline for over 3 years. 3 months’ class teaching experience in top-notch Melbourne girl’s high school.

My Class in Cafetalk:
The class will be conducted in English; however, I will be able to explain in Japanese or Mandarin if required.
I offer a variety of types of lesson including conversation classes, Ted Talk classes, pronunciation focused lessons and academic English.
I believe that the key to success with learning English is getting regular constructive feedback from a teacher and planning your future study around key identified errors. I offer detailed and personalized feedback to my students on an ongoing basis throughout our planned course of study.
