As a media artist and language instructor who has lived in Germany for a long time, using Korean, German, and English, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to speak a foreign language naturally. That frustrating feeling when you've learned the grammar but your mouth won't open, or when you miss the timing to speak because you're busy constructing sentences in your head—I understand it completely. That’s why in my lessons, I place more importance on real, spoken Korean and German and expressions you can use right away in context, rather than error-free sentences. My goal is to observe where each student gets stuck carefully, guide them step-by-step through pronunciation, word order, and nuances, and create that moment together where they can finally say, “Ah, now I can actually speak!” Whether you want to learn Korean or speak German more naturally, everyone is welcome!

Hello, I am tomatoto. I currently live in Seoul. I majored in Japanese at university and also have experience living in Japan for a short period. When I was a university student, I tutored Japanese students in Korean. Having been a language student myself, I know firsthand what it feels like to feel nervous, worry about making mistakes, and deal with awkward silences.
