Dear Cafetalk Community,
I hope you're staying cool somehow in the sweltering heat on that side of the hemisphere. I can't believe you're experiencing record-breaking temperatures in Japan. I'm sorry you're experiencing unbearably high temperatures and hope you're having a wonderful summer anyway.
This video is another one of my offerings from my previous acting career in Hollywood. I wanted to share it with the community of English-speakers. The original show was called "Too Close for Comfort," but in the next incarnation the producers changed the name of the show to "The Ted Knight Show" after the great comedian and actor. Although it wasn't my first American television acting job, it was early in my career and the late Ted Knight taught me a lot -- especially about comedy. If you're so inclined, I'd appreciate it if you can take a look. My scenes are edited for your viewing convenience.
By the way, if you haven't taken my English lesson yet, I would be honored to meet you and get to know you. On the other hand, if you've already had a lesson with me in the past, perhaps it's time to take another lesson. Either way, it would be my pleasure to have you as a student.
