They are mini dachshunds.  Mini dachshunds are usually under 5 kilograms in weight and come in long hair and short hair.  My dachshunds are short hair and smooth.  They love to play, sit on laps and desire to eat all the time.  They are loyal, truly enjoy being active, enjoy sleeping and laying on laps.  They love to be with their owners.

Dachshunds originated in Germany in the 17th century.  They originally hunted badgers, foxes, and boars. They come in 3 sizes: Normal, Miniature, and Toy.  

They love riding in cars, taking walks and playing.
