今週のトピックは「思い出の歌」ということで、さっそく書いてみたいと思います。



I didn't have a taste for Western music like my friends did.

When I was in junior high, one of my friends got absorbed in "Wham!"

and George Michael's sweet voice was always with us.

"How can you not be concerned about them?" she shot questions at me.

ラジオをつけると１日に必ず数回は流れていた "Wake Me Up!" 

キャッチーなメロディで耳に残ります。


でも、今回みなさんにご紹介したのは、ジョン・オバニオンの楽曲です。

薬師丸ひろ子さんと真田広之さんが主演された「里見八犬伝」の主題歌。


Why is this song so special to me?

それは「初めてディクテーションに挑戦した洋楽だった」からです。

歌詞を知りたくてレコードも買いました。

歌えるようになりたくて、ディクテーションに挑戦。

おかげで今でもソラで歌えます。

ディクテーションはやはり最強の学習法のようです。
