Frankenstein: More than a Horror Book?

2021-06-17

Who doesn’t recognize this monster?

Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus is a short novel by Mary Shelley.

It’s considered the first science-fiction novel, and it was published in 1818. It has influenced films, comics, anime, and some of its themes are recurrent in pop culture.

But the story is not so much about a monster; it’s about being a parent, love, and the prejudices of society. It’s also about science and the mystery of life…

Explore with me this timeless novel in a SUPER easy way. We will talk about the characters and discuss its plot in a relaxed way. You don’t need to have an advanced level of English. This lesson is for upper beginner, intermediate, or advanced students. I’ll adapt it to your needs.
