Hello, everyone! How are you today? It's Teacher Asuka.

Today, I'm going to talk about 'the Power in Real Earnest'.

Tokyo Olympic 2020 Game has been held in Japan since the end of July,2021 amid COVID-19 pandemic situation. The players have been spending so many years of blood, sweat, toil and tears to get Olympic Medals or Honors.

The audiences, including myself, have impressed deeply to see such players. Have you ever thought why we impress to see them even if they hadn’t gotten any awards or medals?

Without doubt, every athlete has made earnest effort for this event to participate in. I suppose that the power of earnestness always gives people a breathtaking and touching excitement.

Each result can be caused by not only the players’ effort but also all support of their surroundings like coaches, colleagues, family, and friends. Their sincere and earnest attitudes toward every game always bring them pride, happiness, growth, and blessings even if their each result will not be a good one.

Well, I would like to ask you some questions here. When we see candle lights or electric lights, and lively flowers or artificial flowers, what do you think which one of them will feel attractive? When it comes to think about the power of earnestness, it seems that these examples will show us important tips.

In short, because of doing its best as much as possible,

a light of candle, or a lively flower gives us to feel
attractive.

Therefore, I would rather think that the power of these Olympic players does the same thing as above so that it impresses our hearts universally.

Thank you for staying with me as well.

See you next time!
