It's all about the small things in life!

Weekly Topic: This is how I enjoy my daily life!

Yara

I feel very thankful and grateful for all the beautiful things in my life.

Here are some things that I look forward to every day or week:

1. Drinking my morning coffee, which is made with love by my partner! (Who, also happens to work in the coffee industry, so I'd say it's pretty dang good coffee!)

2. Talking with my family every day. Even though they are so far, we talk every day, and I can't imagine a life without them. They are the most precious thing to me!

3. Cooking - it gives me so much joy. Especially the part that comes after, the eating! haha!

4. When I'm not cooking, I'm definitely looking forward to eating out! I love trying new restaurants and cuisines, and I'm always excited to go out to eat - especially Japanese food!

5. Language learning - I'm addicted to it!! I even used to do 'Kanji Coffee' to practice Kanji!

Of course, something I love is teaching. It's amazing to be able to share knowledge with others and read kind reviews. Many times, my students are the ones that are my teachers, so I'm grateful to all of you.

That's it, here are 5 (actually, 6) things that help me get up in the morning and make me excited for the next day!

What are three things that you're grateful for?

Hi Yara, long time no see. I'm very glad to hear your good story. I've been busy and I was thinking to book your lesson after I'd settled. I want to write my story, but my PC was broken, so it's hard to write that with my smart phone now. Anyway, I want to make a reservation for your lesson.

Mieko thank you for the comment - that's really lovely - and a little funny about the pinky toe! Sometimes it's only when we lose something that we can really be grateful for it, right!

Hi Yara! Thanks for your nice suggestion. The first thing is that my family are alive well. I feel like nothing is more important than health. So next, I'm also thanks for my pinky toe. You know, I became not to walk normally just due to cracked my pinky toe. I didn't think until now that a pinky toe has the important role to walk. Finally, I'll be grateful to people around me including you because they stimulate me.

I'm grateful to have been born in this world, in other words, I'm grateful for my parents and my ancestors. And I'm thankful that all of my family members are healthy. Lastly I'm grateful to be Japanese, because I love Japan.

Gratitude for the people who help me. Gratitude for favours I have received. Gratitude for all that I have. Gratitude for everything that happens in my life.

Hi Yara! Thank you for sharing some beautiful pics. This is an easy topic for me because I'm always thankful for someone or something. 1. Family. Thanks for my parents and sister, I'm feeling like that they are by me 24/7. My husband lets me feel free to do anything what I want to do. Most of my issue is about job. He once told me, 'You should do what only you can do it for your life.' I always do so. 2. What I'm alive without any serious problems.3. I appreciate all people around me.

Hi, Yara. I enjoyed reading your column. Here are three things I’m thankful for in my life. 1. Eating delicious foods. It’s my pleasure when I can make a nice meal. I’m happy to eat with my loved ones. 2. Hugging my kids. By doing do so, it will help get rid of my fatigue. They give me happiness. 3. Seeing the beautiful ocean. It gives me healing. I visit the sea at least once a year. I’m eager to see a blue ocean. I am grateful for the wonderful nature. Thank you for reading.
