I like all animals, but if I were to choose a pet, I'd choose a cat. When I lived in the UK, I had three cats. I really love the independence and selfish personality of cats. I'd also like to have a pond filled with koi carp, they are such beautiful and mysterious fish. They are so relaxing to watch. Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible to have both a cat and koi carp, because absolutely they don't mix!
"何々 and 何々 don't mix" is an expression that means the two things are a bad combination.
