For example, my friend Sam is a big fan of Star Wars and sometimes he can’t stop talking about it and I have a phrase to describe what he’s been doing – but why does it involve rabbits? If someone starts to ‘rabbit on’ something, it means they talk continuously so that other people lose interest in what they are saying and become bored. And Sam can really go on and on and on when he starts talk about Star Wars.

So, it's got nothing to do with rabbits. Let’s hear some example.

• Freya likes to rabbit on about how amazing her boyfriend is!
