EASY READ: I MISS JAPAN

Anamika

I moved out of Japan a few months ago after living there for almost 3 years. And I still think about Japan all the time. Do you know what I miss the most about Japan?

Friends ofcourse!! Japan gave me so many beautiful friendships. I always thought it’d be difficult to make friends as we grow older but while living in Japan I was blessed with special friends, and I feel so lucky. I still try to keep in touch online, but I miss hanging out with them so much. I hope to reunite with them soon.

Another thing I really miss is how I could get out of my house alone any time of the night without fearing anyone. I never felt unsafe there.

Convenience stores are also one of the things I miss the most. Grabbing a quick meal or snacks from Conbini amidst of hectic schedule or in the middle of the night was my favorite thing. My go-to snack and drink were tuna-mayo onigiri and matcha latte. Ohh, how I miss them!!
