千葉県でも珍しい、海に入って、豊漁祈願(ほうりょうきがん）するお祭りです。この日は生（あいにく）の天気で海も荒れましたが、久しぶりの熱狂（ねっきょう）が戻ってきました。大原（おおはら）は豊富な漁場（ぎょじょう）が近く、伝統的（でんとうてき）な漁業の町です。また、最近は、波の高さを求め近隣（きんりん）から、たくさんのサーファ－がやってきています。
この日は、人口より多い観光客（かんこうきゃく）でにぎわいました。
It is a festival where people go into the sea and pray for a good catch, which is rare even in Chiba Prefecture.Unfortunately, the weather was bad that day and the sea was rough, but the excitement was back for the first time from corona disaster.
Ohara is a traditional fishing town with abundant fishing grounds nearby.This is the beach where many surfers come from nearby in search of wave height, nowadays.
