12月に入り、我が家もクリスマス仕様にしました。
It's December and my home has been decorated for Christmas.


中でもお気に入りは、こちらのナティビティ人形です。
One of my favourites is this nativity set.

もう20年近く前、アイルランド人の友人宅で初めてナティビティセットを見て、「これが欲しい！」とひとめぼれ。
When I first saw a nativity set at an Irish friend's house almost 20 years ago, I loved it.


日本では気に入ったものがなかなか見つからず、探しに探して、東京のとある教会の通信販売でやっと見つけました。
I couldn't find one I liked in Japan, so I searched and searched until I finally found it through a mail order from a church in Tokyo.


でも私はキリスト教徒ではないので、12月25日でクリスマス飾りは終了。
But I am not a Christian, so the Christmas decorations end on 25 December.


次はお正月の準備をしなければ！忙しい、忙しい…
Then I have to prepare for Oshogatsu (New Year's)! Oh, I'm so busy.
