Hi all! My name is Robert I am British and I live in Dubai. We celebrate the arrival of Spring in Dubai. It is a grand celebration organized by the Chinese Embassy in the UAE, the Consulate-General in Dubai, and the Board of Directors of Hala China, under the guidance and support of the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The event is held annually to welcome the arrival of the Chinese New Year and is attended by a large number of people, including ambassadors, ministers, consuls, key royal members, directors, and representatives of Chinese institutions, overseas Chinese, and local people from all walks of life.

The Spring Festival parade is a significant part of the celebration, featuring processions and floats of famous enterprises, overseas Chinese groups, Chinese and foreign students, and Chinese enterprises in Dubai. The parade is decorated with colorful floats and lanterns in traditional Chinese style, and the Spring Festival market showcases special Chinese food and various Chinese products. The event also includes an intangible cultural heritage display zone and a game zone, turning Expo City Dubai into a carnival of Spring Festival.

In addition to the parade, the Spring Festival in Dubai includes cultural performances, such as a dedicated cultural performance at the Al Wasl Plaza, where the opening ceremony of the Dubai Expo was held. The gala presents a dreamlike experience, with traditional Chinese and modern performances against the brilliant lights of the dome specially designed to welcome the Spring Festival

The Spring Festival in Dubai is also marked by retail promotions, with over two million visitors flocking to Dubai for the month-long Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). During this time, almost every shop in the city offers discounts, and various shows and events are organized throughout the city.
