YouTube Channels to Help You Improve Your English Listening and Vocabulary

Weekly Topic: Your favorite teaching tool

Clizia Mondini

YouTube is a powerful tool for practicing English. With my most advanced students, I sometimes use YouTube videos as a learning resource. However, it's important to choose videos carefully and according to the student's level.

My favorite type of channels are the cooking ones! I think they are great for building daily vocabulary.

If you want to improve your vocabulary, listening skills, and discover more about American English pronunciation, here are 3 YouTube channels that I love to use during my lessons:

1. emmymade
Clear accent, slower speaking speed, and curious

2. Beryl Shereshewsky
Clear accent, spontaneous, and engaging

3. Tasting History with Max Miller
Advanced, informative, cooking, and history
