What to Say when Interrupted

Zia

Hi all! How are you today? It's Zia with another very fast tip.

Whether it's in a meeting, on the phone or on a Zoom call, sometimes people interrupt us. How to handle this situation politely?

Here are a few suggestions:

Speaker 1: "And so to summarise...."

Speaker 2: "I want to just ask a question, when is the next meeting?"

Speaker 1: "That’s a good question! I’ll address it in just a moment after I wrap up this explanation. And so to summarise..."

Hope that helps!
