Hi, everyone! こんにちは!It's Sana-sensei here!
How are y'all doing? In Japan, it's getting warmer and warmer every day and we can feel that spring is around the corner!
By the way, what comes to your mind first when you think of Japanese spring?
I'm sure most of you are thinking of the pretty cherry blossom trees!
Yes, we started to see some of them blooming! Maybe you might have seen the pictures on the news or social media.
I love cherry blossoms too. They are so pretty and I become happy to just see them!
However, Japanese spring is not always pretty and fun...
You know what else is there in spring? Oh yeah, "pollen"... A lot of Japanese people suffer from pollen allergies in spring, including me ;(
If you visit Japan around this time, you would still see people wearing masks although flu season is over. We have to cover our nose and mouth to protect from the pollen!!
A lot of my friends have allergies to pollen and they have to get vaccinated sometimes or take meds everyday... There are glasses that specialized for pollen allergies in stores haha
The allergies have been bothering me since last week, and I cannot live without tissues even for 30 seconds right now ;(
If you are planning to visit Japan in spring, it'd be better to be prepared for pollen allergies! Tissues are MUST for sure:)
We can talk more about Japan and Japanese culture in my lesson!
20% off coupon is also available so please check it out!
Looking forward to seeing you all in my lesson:)
