My 10-Minute English Challenge – Summer Holiday Edition!

Rhei

Summer and Obon holidays are made for relaxing, but I've got a little challenge to keep your
English fresh — without turning it into a study session. All it takes is 10 minutes a day, and you can do it anywhere, anytime.

Here are some fun ideas:

1. Snap & Caption – Take a photo of something during your holiday and add a short English caption.
2. Holiday Tunes – Play an English song and jot down 5 words or phrases you catch.
3. Mini Movie Moment – Watch 10 minutes of an English movie and retell the scene in your own words.
4. Menu Hunt – Spot an English menu or sign, choose one word or phrase, and make your own sentence with it.
5. Quick Story Challenge – Write a 3-sentence holiday story using as many summer-related words as you can.

These little activities sneak English into your daily life — no stress, just fun. By the end of the holiday, you'll realize you've been practicing all along.

Try one today and tell me how it went — I'd love to see your results and share some tips! See you!
