Idiom of the Week

Introduction
Idioms are part of daily English. They are funny, colorful, and often don’t mean what the words say. Learning idioms will make your English sound more natural. Each week, we will learn one idiom you can use in real life.

This Week’s Idiom:

Call It a Day

No need to call anyone! “Call it a day” means to stop working or finish an activity.

Example:
Lisa: “We’ve cleaned the whole house.”
Ben: “Great! Let’s call it a day and watch a movie.”

Try it this week:After studying, say, “Okay, I’ll call it a day.”
