Hello everyone!
I’m Teacher Esther Anika-Osarumen, a new English tutor on Cafetalk, and I’m so happy to finally be here!
At the beginning of this year, I set a goal, to become a tutor on Cafetalk and connect with students from around the world. It didn’t happen overnight, but I stayed focused and never gave up. Now, with just two months left in the year, I’ve achieved that goal! Hurray!
This reminds me of something important: you don’t need big goals to end the year well. Sometimes, small, steady goals can make the biggest difference. So before December ends, here are a five simple things you can try:
1. Improve Your English little by little. Learn a few new words, watch an English video, or take one lesson a week.
2. Read something short and enjoyable, like a blog, story, or article that interests you.
3. Speak more, even if it’s just to yourself. Talk about your day or your plans in English (but I'm here for you).
4. Take care of yourself — rest, eat well, and stay positive.
5. Reflect on your progress — look back at what you’ve achieved this year and what you want to do next.
Two months is more time than it seems. Every small effort counts! So, don’t wait for the new year to start fresh. Begin now.
If improving your English is one of your goals, let’s work on it together before December ends! I can’t wait to meet you in class and help you finish the year strong.
With Love
Teacher Esther O.
