The One Thing I Learned This Summer (That Actually Works)

Kay M

Every summer, we make the same promise: "This time, I'll really get serious about my English."

Then life gets busy. Motivation fades. And we're right back where we started.

This summer, I finally figured out why.

The Truth?

Motivation is unreliable. It comes and goes like the weather.

I spent weeks waiting for the "perfect moment" to study. It never came.

But when I stopped waiting and started showing up—just 20 minutes a day, every single day—everything changed. Not because I suddenly had more energy. But because I built momentum.

That's what actually moves the needle.

What This Means for You

You don't need 2-hour marathon lessons. You don't need to feel "ready."

You just need consistency.

That's why my lessons are different:

Short & focused – 25 minutes of high-energy practice, not burnout

No pressure, just progress – We keep it small so you actually show up

Real conversation – We talk about your life, not just textbooks

Accountability – I don't just teach; I keep you on track

I know you're busy. I know you've bookmarked many teachers.

But here's the question: Are you actually making progress?

If the answer is no, let's change that. Together.

Reading English isn't enough; you need to speak to improve.
