Speak with Confidence with Customised Conversational Coaching

Suja

Imagine this scenario on your weekly team Zoom or Teams call:

Manager: "Ken, you managed the project schedule. Could you explain why the product launch was delayed last month?"

You (in your head): "The delivery truck broke down, so the main package arrived late to our warehouse..."

You (out loud): "Ah, yes. The transit vehicle was damaged, so the cargo made a late entrance to our storage place."

Manager: "Right... so the delivery truck broke down, and the shipment arrived late to the warehouse?"

You: "Yes, exactly…..."

You know your job very well. But under pressure in a meeting, your brain translates word-for-word from your native language or picks formal dictionary words (transit vehicle instead of delivery truck, storage place instead of warehouse).

Your manager understands you, but they could also end up repeating your words in simpler English for the rest of the team.

This , I have been told, has happened to some of you. You do not lack vocabulary—you actually know a lot of words but get “stuck” when you are required to explain it to someone else. The real challenge is choosing the simple, natural words that people use every day at work but you cannot access the right words under pressure!

When you feel stressed in a meeting, direct translation causes awkward word choices that can make simple ideas sound complicated.

This is where conversational coaching helps:

·        Natural Everyday Phrases: Learn clear, common words instead of long, difficult dictionary terms.

·        Fast Word Choice: Practice picking the right, simple words quickly without translating in your head.

·        Real Meeting Practice: Try roleplay so you can answer questions easily and feel relaxed.

This is where conversational coaching changes everything and customised classes could help.

Instead of studying grammar rules from a textbook, we practice real-time response drills. We train your brain to structure thoughts quickly, use natural delay phrases (like "That's a good question, let me break that down..."), and elaborate with confidence when you're put on the spot.
