Small Caring Actions Can Change a Lot: My Story as a Tutor and Soap Maker
I used to believe that changing the world meant doing something huge. Start a big project. Make a big name. Fix big problems.

So I waited. And while I waited for the "right big moment," nothing changed.

Starting where I was

Eventually I stopped asking, "How can I change the world?" and started asking, "Who can I help today?"

That question led me to teaching English online.

I know how it feels to learn English in a place where you rarely hear it spoken. You study for years, you know the rules, but when someone asks you a simple question, your mind goes blank. It is not because you are not smart. It is because you never had enough chances to speak.

Now I get to be that chance for my students. Every time a student finishes a sentence they were afraid to say, I feel that my dream of making a difference is coming true, one lesson at a time.

What a bar of soap taught me

Away from the screen, I make cold process soap by hand.

It is slow work. You measure carefully, mix, pour, and then you wait for weeks while the soap cures. You cannot hurry it, and you cannot skip steps.

That waiting changed how I teach. Nobody becomes fluent in a day, just as no soap is ready in a day. What helps is small, steady effort and a lot of patience.

What I tell my students

  • You do not need perfect English to start speaking.
  • Mistakes are normal. They mean you are practicing.
  • Confidence does not arrive first. It grows every time you try.

Practice with me

If you would like a friendly place to speak without feeling judged, join my lesson "Everyday English Dialogues: Practice Speaking Naturally." We role-play real conversations together, from ordering at a small cafe to talking about feelings and daily life.

The person who inspires me most is the one who finally stopped waiting and started with something small. And you can do the same. You only have to believe in yourself. ??
