When I was in Nepal

2016년 11월 1일

-Right after the Gorkha Earthquake hit Nepal in April 2015

I and other members went to Nepal from Japan to do a microtremor survey and analysis to know the current situation of Nepal's structure and ground after the Gorkha Earthquake for the sake of Nepal's better future.

Here is our luggage!! Yes, It is HUGE! Most of them are sophisticated sensors for our measurement. so We literally carried them with a maximum attention level.

And this is how we did the survey!

Even though I was very busy, I did not want to miss any chance to take a picture with Nepalese kids since I love kids very much.

Well, short speaking, every single day we had to work from 6 am in the morning until around 10 pm (sometimes more). All of us were exhausted but "Very Happy". We did enjoy! Soon we reached hotel, we always tried to take some pictures for our memory to keep forever (definitely not as typical beauty selfie shot).

There were actually 6 members in total, I forgot why the other two members are not in the picture.

And finally In the picture below, shows the time when we came back to Japan safely with a meaningful experience we had in Nepal.

Thank you for reading my Tutor's Column

I hope this article can inspire any one of you to travel around the world to help others who are in needs.

Little help from us is very meaningful for them. So even though you cannot go directly to the location for some reasons, your "Pray" and "Empathy" are already meaningful for them.

-Have a nice day every one-

Cindy
