Takao to Hozukyo Hike!!!

David

Wow....what can I say!?

This was unexpectedly one of the most beautiful hikes we have ever done!

Lasting around 6 hours in total (including one hour walk home!), it featured everything from temples, shrines, waterfalls, emerald green lakes, and more!

The scenery was perfectly picturesque - like something out of a postcard :-)

We managed to stop and have a picnic down by one of the lakes. We didn't see a single other person, and were able to chat and relax in the most peaceful natural surroundings.

There was even time for a bit of Yoga!

What a fantastic day!

Today has made me realise even more how much I LOVE Japan, and in particular how much we LOVE Kansai!!!! :-)
