Kursinhalt

This course is designed for students who already have a foundation in Italian and want to take the next big step: moving beyond the basics to express themselves with fluency, accuracy, and confidence. At the intermediate level, you are no longer just “learning Italian”—you are beginning to live the language, using it in real contexts and exploring its cultural depth.

In our lessons, grammar and vocabulary are always taught in action: you will practice through dialogues, readings, role plays, and guided conversations that mirror authentic Italian communication. Together, we will work on the four essential skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also exploring Italy’s rich cultural background.

Here’s what you can expect from the course:

  • Conversation practice: talk about everyday topics (travel, work, hobbies, food, current events) in a natural, structured way

  • Grammar in context: master verb tenses (present, past, future, conditional), prepositions, pronouns, and sentence connectors without overwhelming theory

  • Vocabulary expansion: learn practical words and expressions that make your speech more fluid and idiomatic

  • Listening and comprehension: use audio, videos, and dialogues to get familiar with different accents and authentic Italian speech

  • Cultural insights: discover Italian traditions, cinema, music, art, and daily life, so you can understand not just how Italians speak, but how Italians think and live

  • Error correction and feedback: personalized guidance to help you identify your weak points and improve step by step

Who is this lesson for?

Lesson format:
Each lesson (55 minutes) is interactive and dynamic. You won’t just memorize grammar rules—you’ll use them actively, through guided conversation, exercises, and cultural materials. Every class will end with a short recap and personalized tips for improvement, so you can clearly see your progress.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Speak Italian with greater confidence and spontaneity

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
