Description

When English speakers work hard,  finish a task, or leave work, what do they say to encourage their co-workers? Let's learn a few phrases similar to the Japaneses phrases otsukaresama desu/deshita, gokorosama, and related phrases like osaki ni (shitsureishimasu). 

Like Japanese, English has some polite language, so we'll learn a phrase which is appropriate for peers (douhai) and subordinates (kouhai) versus superiors (senpai).  

We'll practice learning and pronouncing the phrases.To practice, I'll roleplay as a co-worker, a subordinate, and... the boss. :) You can play, too, if you like! 
 
This lesson is great for learners who plan to work in business, live abroad, interpret, or translate. The lesson can be simple for intermediate learners, or more complex for advanced learners.
