
A fun way to learn what each part of the body is called, with games, worksheets, and reading.

Lesson goal: At the end of the lesson Students will be able to point to and recognize parts of the human body and face.
Target language: parts of the face, parts of the body.
Student level: Any age, elementary level English.
5 minutes, teaching, repeating, and eliciting the target language with a total physical response. Testing the students to see if they can remember.
15 minutes, matching works sheet, matching pictures to words. Then a labeling worksheet, writing out the parts of the body together.
10 minutes, crossword puzzle, identifying the correct body parts
15 minutes. I will play a game of Simon Says with the students that will become faster and more difficult. Using the phrase "touch your ____", I may point to the wrong part of my body and see if they can distinguish between them. If there is extra time with them I will play a game of hangman with students to test their spelling of the body parts.
