Being queer looks different everywhere; different rules, different expectations, different freedoms, different battles. And for many of us? It’s a story we’ve had to hide, rewrite, or whisper.

This class is a space where you don’t have to whisper.

Here, you can share what it’s like to be LGBTQIA+ in your country; the wins, the fears, the confusion, the love, the loneliness, the joy, the contradictions. Whether you’re out, questioning, closeted, curious, or simply want a space to breathe, I’m here to hold that space with you.

I’ll also share my own journey; growing up closeted in Jamaica, navigating identity in different cultures, and what “being gay” means across communities.

Together, we explore how sexuality intersects with culture, language, family, religion, and everyday life.
