This is one of my most popular lessons!
The best ways to learn a new language:
Listening - to me read AND yourself reading with guidance.
Speaking - loudly while reading AND discussing what we have read.
Writing - down what you have learned.
READING - will do all of these. It will help you understand and learn a lot more.
I will record the lesson if you want, so you can practice after.
I am a librarian in Beijing, China and have a love of books. I encourage my students to read at least 20-30 minutes each day to not only develop a love of reading and for learning a new language, but to increase their knowledge of the world around them.
Reading will increase your English proficiency much more quickly.
This lesson is useful for all ages and all levels of English.
1. First, I will determine what your language level is
2. Next, I will find out what types of books you are interested in
3. Then, we will read the book, taking turns reading
4. Most importantly, I will explain new vocabulary and sentence use
5. Finally, I will give you a free .pdf book...or more. :)
You can choose the book or allow me to choose it.
After the lesson, you can continue practicing with the recording.
