                    Practice Your English by Having an
                English Conversation Lesson!

                                 

                          



     Practice your spoken English, improve your fluency and enhance your vocabulary!

     Having a conversation is simply that back and forth of taking turns at sharing what is on your mind and listening to and responding to what the other person has to say. Good and engaging conversations are a way to practice thinking, to express ourselves and to make sense of what other people have to say.
 
     Conversations not only improve your proficiency in the language but it can also be a powerful communication tool that can help you reach out to others and build good relationships.
 
    

        

    You can either have a either one of the 2 structured lessons or the free conversation class. You decide on a  topic from a provided list before the class. We can also use an article or picture to talk about. 
 

Conversations or Discussions not only improve your language skills but it can also be a powerful communication tool. The lessons (2 structured , 1 free conversation) are orgnaized to maximize your learning time or it can be in Free Conversation style. As a student, you will choose from any of  the 3 lessons styles you want and a topic to tackle from a provided list before the class.

The key to gaining proficiency in English is constant or frequent practice. This lesson pack gives you a chance to either have a -

The Structured Lessons are as follows:

1. Structured Conversation Lessons - more chatting

2. Structured Discussion Lessons - more debating / expressing opinions

The typical Lesson Content for both Lessons are as follows:

Vocabulary Words & Expressions(1st part for Conversation lessons; 2nd part for Discussion Lessons )
First, the lesson starts by going over the vocabulary and expressions / idioms with your tutor. You will read the word/expression and definition out loud, and your tutor will go over anything you do not understand. Practice creating a sentence or two to make sure you know how to use the word/expression properly.

Conversation(2nd part for Conversation lessons;1st part for Discussion Lessons )
This part features a list of several questions as a guideline to form an interesting conversation with your tutor. Feel free to diverge from these suggestions if anything interesting comes up.
Something Extra(for Discussion Lessons only)
You will be given a quote related to the topic to read out loud, interpret and discuss.

Wrap Up (Last part for both Conversation lessons and Discussion Lessons )
The last part will be a brief reiew of any new expressions or vocabulary that you learned from the lesson.
 
We can also use an article or picture to talk about. You will be given separate topic lists for the Conversation & Discussion Lessons.
