Homonyms: Words that have the same spelling and same pronunciation, but
different meanings.
Example: I hope you are not "lying" to me. - telling a lie

Example: The (wind) is blowing hard. - a moving air (rhymes with pinned)

Homophones: Words that have the same pronunciation, but different spelling

Example: (sent, scent)
