In the Book Club Express series, we will explore and discuss different classic books. You don’t need to read the book in advance, and you don’t need to have an advanced level either. I’ll adapt this lesson to your needs! In this lesson we’ll overview Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein: its context, themes, characters, and plot.
- Using a PowerPoint presentation, we will analyze the novel’s context and its origins.
- We will talk about the characters and their roles.
- We will look at images and put together the main events of the story.
- We will discuss the main themes of the novel by reading ed fragments.
