B1 Pre-Intermediate English Course Outline (100–200 Lessons, 25 Minutes Each)
This course is designed for B1 pre-intermediate learners who want to improve their fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English. It will cover a range of real-life situations, grammar structures, and vocabulary topics to help students communicate more effectively. We will follow an appropriate textbook as the primary guide while incorporating interactive speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.
1. Strengthening Everyday Communication (Lessons 1–40)
Students will review and expand their ability to talk about personal experiences, daily routines, and social interactions. Lessons will focus on improving sentence structure, past and future tenses, and expressing opinions in simple conversations.
2. Expanding Practical Language Skills (Lessons 41–80)
Lessons will introduce more complex real-life situations, such as making complaints, discussing travel experiences, handling phone conversations, and talking about work and studies. Students will work on listening comprehension, structured dialogues, and role-playing activities to improve fluency.
3. Developing Grammar & Expressing Ideas Clearly (Lessons 81–120)
Students will learn to use a wider range of tenses, conditionals, reported speech, and modal verbs to express possibilities, obligations, and preferences. They will also focus on forming longer sentences, improving pronunciation, and participating in more detailed discussions.
4. Engaging in Discussions & Descriptive Language (Lessons 121–160)
Students will practice expressing opinions, agreeing and disagreeing politely, and describing past and future experiences in more detail. Grammar topics will include passive voice, relative clauses, and more advanced sentence structures. Writing tasks such as emails, reports, and personal stories will be introduced.
5. Enhancing Fluency & Confidence in Real-Life Contexts (Lessons 161–200)
The final stage will focus on improving fluency through interactive discussions, storytelling, and debate-style conversations on familiar topics. Lessons will also include practical skills such as writing formal and informal messages, understanding idiomatic expressions, and handling social and professional interactions with confidence.
