Introduction (5) Minutes: Past tense of forms wit 'Irregular Verbs'

Student has to guess the actions of the teacher.  If he or she can't then the teacher will show three personal photos of actions showing irregular verbs in English for the way their  'past tense' is formed.  Teacher will go over what 'past tense' means in terms of time.  'Yesterday, I ate pork Yakisoba.'  Teacher will introduce the past tense for the three following verbs: (eat, ate), (speak, spoke), (take, took).
 
Lesson:  Introducing three verbs  10 minutes
How to use the verbs casually in conversation and how to say correctly?
 
Teacher will model the before and after photos and teacher can act out the verbs again and he can say 'I ate cereal this morning.  I love cereal!'  Teacher can show three kinds of cereal he loves.  Teacher will model each verb and use just the past tense for first person.  Teacher will explain why he loves cereal, why he spoke to his son, why he took his notebook on the train, etc.
 
Teacher can get the student to talk about him or herself and use the three verbs.
 
Practice:  10 minutes
 
Teacher talks about holidays in the country of the student and family.  They can use the three verbs to talk about something that occurred maybe a few months before so the student can practice even more.  Teacher can go over the holiday and have student explain a particular holiday from their country and the teacher can give a personal example.
 
Closing:  5 minutes
 
Teacher can try and induce more irregular verbs to get the students talking about common irrregular verbs that they may use already.
